HOW TO PREPARE FOR A ROAD TRIP?

HOW TO PREPARE FOR A ROAD TRIP?

Ready for a Road Trip?

Road lovers are increasing day by day as this type of trip allows us to explore the unexplored roads. Road trips pave a way to explore a destination to the core. Sometimes road trips can surprise you with beautiful spots which may or may not be known to the locals.

Road travellers, on the other hand, must be fully prepared and equipped for their trip. The following are some points to remember before you start on a road trip.

  • Get to know the place

Be aware of the roads that you are going to travel. If possible, get some first-hand information about the place from a local person there (At least, after reaching your destination).

  • Safety

Travellers always have a pen torch/ flashlight, penknife and even a pepper spray for your safety. Always Safety first.

  • Documents

Always check for the papers of your vehicle, check their validity. Having a hard copy in your hand and soft copy in your gadgets can safeguard you.

  • Back up

Always have back up. May it be fuel/gas, mobile battery or even drinking water. Fill your tanks at possible places and charge your mobile and power bank, before you kick start your day.

  • Hydration

Hydrating yourself is a must and remember to fill and refill your water bottle/ can. Guys, please avoid plastic bottles.

  • Mechanics

Before you start your trip, learn the basic mechanics of your vehicle and don't miss to carry your tool kit with you.

  • Road rules

Follow the road rules strictly, I repeat Strictly.

  • Be light

Be light with your luggage and food. Have light food and carry less luggage both will help you to travel at ease.

  • Awareness

Knowing the route is a must and be aware of the availability of fuel/ gas stations, restrooms, refreshments, relaxing points, exploring spots, etc.

    • If you are a biker, make sure you wear a good quality Helmet and Jacket.

    Happy Ride !!
