Accommodation is one of the key factors in making your trip pleasant. We all would love an affordable pleasant stay during our trip. Keeping that in mind, we would like to suggest the following before you have to select accommodation for your trip.
A cozy or a costly one? Which one to prefer?
If you are on a trip to a place where you have jotted down plenty of spots or locations to visit, then spot a Cozy, affordable / an economical stay. Touring around, you will likely be spending most of the time away from your accommodation. This way, you can save money on accommodation and spend more on activities/sports in the places you visit.
On the other hand, if you are tour to relax and have less choice of places to visit- you can prefer a high-priced luxury stay and enjoy the royal treatment in the name of hospitality.
Where to book a room?
Choose accommodation that can comfortably provide commutation to all the places you are interested to visit.
Select a Hotel that is almost equidistant from all the places of tourist attraction. You can save money and time if you wisely select your accommodation.
What can your Hotel provide for you?
Check for the comforts/facilities that the Hotel can provide which enables you to choose as per your requirement.
For instance, say you are a regular gym hitter, prefer a hotel which has a full-fledged gym, so your routine is not disturbed.
Some of the amenities to be considered are Pool, Wifi connections, Outdoor / Indoor play area, and a Restuarant.
Can't stay away from your Pet?
For all the pet lovers who can't stay away from your pet during your vacation, choose a hotel that allows pets.
Love Cooking?
Some of us love to cook at your stay. In that case, it is good to choose homestays or apartments that can cater to your needs.
Tip: I suggest you try the local food at least once on your trip. Anyway, the choice entirely depends upon you and your appetite.
Bonus: If you prefer not to cook, check the availability of restaurants in and around your accommodation.
Check Hotel timings.
Check-in and check-out times of the hotel are to be noted while you plan for the trip. Check whether they match to your itinerary.
How long is your vacation?
If you have a long vacation and plan to stay at your destination for more than a week, you can opt for an economical apartment.
How many of you are traveling?
If it is an official trip/ couple (honeymoon) trip, you can prefer a hotel at your budget. In the case of a Family trip or a pack of friends, you can prefer an apartment/homestay which makes your trip fun-filled.

Check for the online review and rating of the Hotel you choose to get a clear picture of the safety, facilities, etc.,
